We are a grassroots group of advocates for Massachusetts Regional School Districts. MA Regional Schools face a unique set of challenges, as outlined in State Auditor Suzanne Bump's report released October 18, 2017 titled "Supporting Student and Community Success: Updating the Structure and Finance of Massachusetts Regional School Districts". Please join us as we come together and use this common ground to make our voices heard!

Since February 2018 when the Support MA Regional Schools Facebook group was started, it has grown to over 1500 members representing at least 36 districts, our Twitter handle was established and gathered about 175 followers (and placed 3rd in tweets for the FY19 state budget cycle), we have led 14 separate successful calls to action across the two social media platforms, and we've launched an educational video series designed to help anyone understand education finance. In 2018, we were able to secure an additional 8 percentage points of reimbursement for Fiscal Year 2019 Regional School Transportation (bringing the rate from 72% to 80%) and advocated successfully for raising the Circuit Breaker Special Education reimbursement rate from 68% to 72% for Fiscal Year 2018 and 75% for Fiscal Year 2019.
